It’s summer here in Canada and nothing says summer nights like curling up by an outdoor fire after a day spent at the beach. Lucky for you this Dairy Free Espresso Martini is best served fireside [and with friends!]
What makes this recipe so great? You can prepare it one of THREE ways using whatever Two Bears products you have on hand. The secret ingredient? A dash of maple syrup keeps this drink naturally sweetened. Traditionally, an espresso martini is full of cream [and dairy-filled coffee liquor] but we’ve subbed all of that dairy and sugar for Vodka paired with our plant-based Two Bears Oat.
With 3 different ways to make this drink, it’s like a choose-your-own-adventure, cocktail edition.
1. Use our Vanilla Oat Latte for the base, available in a convenient can or 946ml tetra pack
2. Use a can of our flash brew like our Hazelnut Sea Salt paired with Two Bears Vanilla Oat
3. Use our Unsweetened Oat alongside a shot of freshly brewed espresso made with Two Bears beans
Details on how you can make this yummy pick-me-up at home are below.
O P T I O N 1
- ½ cup Two Bears Vanilla Latte
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 shot of vodka
O P T I O N 2
- ¼ cup Two Bears Flash Brew
- ¼ cup of Two Bears Unsweetened Vanilla Oat
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 shot of vodka
O P T I O N 3
- ¼ cup freshly brewed espresso, we recommend our Country House blend
- ¼ cup of Two Bears Unsweetened Oat
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 shot of vodka
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
I N S T R U C T I O N S:
1. Prepare espresso, if needed.
2. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
3. Shake for 10-15 seconds
4. Strain into your martini glass & enjoy!
